The Boiler Upgrade scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is an Initiative introduced by the UK government which plays a crucial role in advancing the decarbonisation of heating systems within buildings in the UK. It offers upfront financial capital grants to facilitate the adoption of heat pumps and biomass boilers in both residential and non-domestic building across England and Wales.

Property owners can now benefit from the following grants, this allows installers to apply on behalf of the customers for:

A £7,500 deduction in the cost and installation of air source heat pumps
A total grant funding pool of £450 million is earmarked over a three-year period, spanning from 2022 to 2025. This significant financial support is designed to propel the transition towards more sustainable heating solutions and drive the overall shift to greener and environmentally conscious building practices.
